Membership
Who can be a member of SMBA?
Membership in Saunders of Multicultural Business Association is open to all RIT undergraduate and graduate students, regardless of major, nationality, or affiliation. How do I become a member of SMBA? In order to be considered a member of SMBA, you must attend at least three (3) events per semester. When you attend an SMBA Event, be sure to sign in, so that we can make sure that we have your most up-to-date contact information. If you get a co-op outside of Rochester, you are still considered a member; just let us know so that we can make a note to ourselves. Is there a cost for membership? No! There are no fees or dues associated with membership. However, we are always open to donations to help maintain our club! Why become a member of SMBA? Becoming a member of SMBA has its benefits. In fact, past SMBA members have received co-op, internship, and full time positions with organizations as: JPMorgan, Microsoft, Chase, Deloitte & Touché, Xerox, Google and Kodak. Membership in SMBA will allow you to gain professional skills, network with other students and professionals, gain access to scholarship opportunities, and become a leader. SMBA is a growing club, and we hope to increase the benefits that we offer to our members in the future! |
