Manuel Acosta (President) Manuel is a graduate student aiming towards a Masters in Business Administration. Manuel grew up in Cuba and came to the United States at the age of 11. He is currently a member of Delta Sigma Pi and CSTEP. He has recently interned at EY in NYC. He has also had internships at DeJoy, Knauf and Blood and Carestream. Manuel has plans to become a CPA. Austin Obiora (Vice President) Currently a graduate student Ambassador of the Saunders College of Business at RIT, Austin Obiora is an MBA student with concentration in Management Information Systems. Originally from Nigeria, he graduated with Bachelors in Computer Science from the American University of Nigeria, then worked in multiple firms for a couple of years before joining RIT for his MBA degree. Austin is also a member of the Delta Sigma Pi professional fraternity where he holds the position of the Vice President of Alumni Relations. Austin is a business professional with interest in the use of Information Technology to improve business processes and drive growth.
Kyrie Ciricillo (Secretary) Kyrie is a 4th year Finance Major with a Minor in Legal Studies. Kyrie grew up in Syracuse, NY. She is currently a member of Delta Sigma Pi and was an Orientation Leader. She interned with Hospice of the Fingerlakes. Kyrie plans to attend law school, specializing in business law.
Maria Tovar (Publicity Director) Maria is a 3rd year New Media Marketing Student with a minor in Management Information Systems. Maria was born in Victoria, Texas, but grew up in Rochester, NY. She enjoys giving back to the Rochester Community by volunteering at St.Francis Xavier Cabrini as a Teacher Assistant and getting involved in Programs like CSTEP and HEOP. She hopes to continue her education that would further lead her into a the world of Advertising.
Dr. Joy Oguntebi (SMBA Faculty Advisor) is an Assistant Professor of Management at the Rochester Institute of Technology's Saunders College of Business. She serves as the faculty advisor for SMBA. Specifically, Dr. Olabisi's research interests include the exploration of organizational learning, knowledge management and team effectiveness within global and virtual team settings as well as trans-continental networks in emerging economies. She has presented her research at several domestic and international conferences. Dr. Olabisi teaches courses in Management and International Business.
